Clay Guiton owned the second-best score of the evening with an 89.10-point outing aboard Lights Out. The Teams Championship MVP had one of two rides for the Carolina Cowboys in the eventual loss.
Rounding out the Top 3 was Julio Cesar Marques, riding for the New York Mavericks, with an 88.65-point ride on Tulsa Time.
Koltin Hevalow earned the fourth-best score of the evening with 87.55 points on Shazam.
Callum Miller scored 87.15 points against The Player on a re-ride attempt to help the Gamblers over the Texas Rattlers in the night’s first Monster Energy Team Challenge game.
The Gamblers opened up the Monster Energy Teams Challenge with a 264.40-170.15 victory over the Texas Rattlers. In the final game of the evening, Rizzo’s walk-off ride propelled the New York Mavericks over the reigning champion Carolina Cowboys 257.30-176.10 in front of a home crowd.
Debuting tonight, the Monster Energy Team Challenge is a tournament-style team competition featuring PBR Teams competing in head-to-head matchups during select Unleash The Beast weekends. Rather than replacing individual competition, the METC layers team rivalry games into the existing UTB event structure, giving fans more drama and a new way to follow teams as well as individual riders.
