SALT LAKE CITY Paulo Eduardo Rossetto (Colorado, Brazil) secured the second win of his premier series career in front of a sold-out crowd at Delta Center on Saturday night to win the PBR Salt Lake City presented by Busch Light event title.

“This is just textbook from Paulo Rossetto. Outstanding bull ride,” 2016 World Champion Cooper Davis said on the Paramount+ telecast.

“Paulo Rossetto hit a home run here riding a really tough bull in this championship round. He’s really making up some ground in the standings.”

Rossetto jumped to the top of the event leaderboard via an 88.90-point strike atop Scrappy in Saturday’s short go, a season-high score for the Brazilian rider, and stayed there for the duration of the contest.

He paired his championship round conversion with 87.75 points aboard Walk Hard during Friday night’s Monster Energy Team Challenge, where he single-handedly won the head-to-head showdown for his Missouri Thunder.

Rossetto earned 126 UTB points for the victory and advanced from No. 10 to No. 4.

Despite coming 2.65 points short in the event aggregate, No. 1 John Crimber (Decatur, Texas) overtook No. 2 Dalton Kasel (Muleshoe, Texas) atop the Unleash The Beast standings courtesy of a runner-up finish.

Crimber used the final attempt of the second round to secure his first round win of the season. Scored a square 90 points on Sucker Pop, his re-ride bull, he recorded his first elite mark of the season, which doubled as his highest mark of the 2026 campaign to date.

Entering Round 3 atop the leaderboard, he opted into a short round dance with Oyster Creek Brawler but touched the bull just 1.82 seconds into the final out of the event.

Netting 92 UTB points for his second-place finish, Crimber now sits 22 points ahead of No. 2 Kasel, who missed this weekend’s event due to injury.

After earning his first round win of the season Friday night courtesy of an 88.90-point conversion aboard Stryker, Alex Cerqueira (Iguatemi, Brazil) improved to 2-for-2 in the second round.

Cerqueira matched Grey Goose’s every move and logged 84.95 points while earning the second pick in Saturday’s bull draft.

Attempting to secure his career-first premier series win, he selected a date with I’m a Hostage, but was sent to the dirt in a close 7.24 seconds. The Brazilian took home 72.5 UTB points, finishing .15 points behind Crimber.

Brady Fielder (Clermont, Queensland) became the first man to double down Saturday night at Delta Center. The Australian cowboy bested Bison for 86.35 points in Round 2 and paired the conversion with his opening night score atop Hookie Monster (83.45 points) to earn a fourth-place finish and end the weekend ranked No. 8.

Joining Rossetto as the only other man to produce a qualified ride during the short round, Maverick Smith went the distance during his first championship round appearance.

Originally going the distance on Flossin for 86.55 points in Round 2, the 21-year-old capped off his career-best fifth-place finish via 82.95 points aboard The Paint.

The PBR Unleash The Beast next rolls into Pittsburgh’s PPG Paints Arena for the U.S. Border Patrol PBR Pittsburgh presented by Ariat Feb. 13-14.
