Bushwacker was one of the most accomplished and recognizable bulls in PBR history.
The three-time PBR World Champion Bull won world titles in 2011, 2013 and 2014, matching the record set by Little Yellow Jacket. Owned by Julio Moreno, Bushwacker competed from 2009 to 2014 and defeated 84 of his 87 opponents across all levels of competition.
On the premier series, Bushwacker went 64-2 with an average bull score of 46.16 points. He also recorded 42 consecutive premier-series buckoffs, a record that stood for more than a decade. His rivalry with J.B. Mauney became one of the sport’s defining matchups, with Mauney ending the streak in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Aug. 17, 2013, with a 95.25-point ride.
Bushwacker retired in 2014 after his final out at the PBR World Finals, where he bucked off Mike Lee for 46.5 points to secure his third world title. He received the PBR Brand of Honor in 2016 and was later recognized as the No. 1 bull in PBR history.
With three world titles, a historic buckoff streak and one of the strongest records the sport has seen, Bushwacker remains a benchmark for greatness in professional bull riding.
