Arizona Ridge Riders
Vitor Losnake has been easy to spot since he first arrived in the United States from Bauru, Brazil, at just 18 years old. Clipped to the back of his riding vest is a small stuffed cow given to him by his younger sister, Lara, before he left home to follow friend Alisson de Souza to America. What started as a reminder of his sister quickly became Losnake’s signature, bouncing behind him through every twist of a PBR career that has taken him across four different PBR Teams organizations.
Bull riding runs in the family. Losnake’s father, Armando, was his first coach and biggest mentor, putting him on small steers when he was 10 and helping develop him into an all-around cowboy who also competed professionally in saddle bronc riding. The Arizona Ridge Riders gave Losnake his first opportunity in PBR Teams, selecting him in the 2022 Supplemental Draft. He helped Arizona reach the Championship Game as a rookie and finish third the following season before later riding for the New York Mavericks, Nashville Stampede and Missouri Thunder. His career was interrupted in July 2024 when he broke both his tibia and fibula, underwent surgery and spent roughly five months sidelined, forcing him to rebuild both physically and mentally before returning to competition.
Away from the dirt, Losnake is one of the more social personalities around the locker room, often joking with the other Brazilians on tour. These days, though, his biggest role is being a dad. His son has taught him that sleep is precious, Losnake jokes, but fatherhood has also reshaped what drives him. He considers being a dad his greatest accomplishment and says everything he does is for his son. Losnake approaches the rest of life much like bull riding: there will be highs and lows, and the only answer is to keep working. In 2026, that work brought him full circle, returning to Arizona and delivering an 86.25-point walk-off ride on TNT in Nashville for his first qualified ride of the PBR Teams season — a reminder that the little cow may sometimes be hidden beneath an Arizona jersey, but Losnake rarely is.
