FINISHING UP OUT WEST

The 2026 Unleash The Beast regular season reaches its defining moment in Tacoma, where every ride carries postseason implications ahead of the World Finals in Fort Worth.

With just one weekend remaining, riders are battling to solidify their position inside the Top 40 and build momentum for the richest event in bull riding.

NARROWING THE MARGIN

The world title race remains within reach entering the final weekend of the regular season.

• No. 1 John Crimber leads the standings for the fifth straight week and a season-leading seventh week overall.
Brady Fielder has climbed to No. 2 after earning his third win of the season in Billings.
• Crimber holds a 247.5-point lead entering Tacoma.
• 167 points are available this weekend.
• 452.5 points separate the Top 5 riders.
• 559.5 points separate the Top 10.
• Five different riders have held the No. 1 ranking through 17 events.

Crimber has now led longer than any rider this season, while Dalton Kasel held the top spot for four weeks and Sage Steele Kimzey for three.

Four of those five riders remain inside the Top 10: Crimber, Kimzey, Kasel and Marco Rizzo.

• Eleven different riders have won events this season.
• Fielder (3), Kimzey (3), Crimber (2) and Kasel (2) are the only multi-time winners.
• Crimber leads the tour with 27 qualified rides.
Clay Guiton holds the highest ride percentage at 63.64%, with Leandro Zampollo just behind at 62.50%.

With nine riders converting at 50% or better, the race remains tightly packed — and one ride could shift the standings in an instant.

THE BEST BULLS IN THE WORLD

The sport’s rankest bulls have continued to dominate down the stretch of the season.

In Indianapolis, eight bulls surpassed the 45-point mark, including Cherry Shot (45.90), Doze You Down, Fire Fight, Ransom, Freedom Fighter, Red Demon, Buck Nasty and Nobody.

That carried into Albuquerque, where Pegasus and Fire Zone led a group of seven bulls over 45 points.

In Sioux Falls, Ransom posted a then-season-high 46.15 points.

In Billings, the bar was raised again as Ransom delivered a new season-best 47.85-point score.

Additional top performers in recent weeks include Pegasus, Fire Zone, Semi Sober, Eyes On Me, Dirty Bomb and Ghost Face.

With elite animal athletes continuing to dictate outcomes, bull power remains a defining factor entering the postseason.

NOTABLE RIDERS TO WATCH

Brady Fielder continues to apply pressure atop the standings, earning wins in Boston, Indianapolis and Billings to climb from No. 9 in mid-March to No. 2 entering Tacoma.

John Crimber remains the man to beat, holding the No. 1 position for seven total weeks, highlighted by a dominant 4-for-4 performance in Sioux Falls.

Claudio Montanha Jr. has surged into the Top 10 following consecutive runner-up finishes in Albuquerque and Sioux Falls, continuing his late-season push.

Cort McFadden reached a major milestone, recording his 100th career premier series qualified ride.

Daniel Keeping matched that achievement, becoming the second rider this season to reach 100 career qualified rides after strong performances in Sioux Falls and Billings.

MAKING THE CUT

The UTB roster continues to evolve as top Velocity Tour riders earn their shot on the sport’s biggest stage.

Invites for Tacoma include Grayson Cole, Macaulie Leather, Trace Redd and Dener Barbosa, alongside Ramario Leite.

Alternates include Mauricio Gulla Moreira, Joao Ricardo Vieira, Manoelito de Souza, Andy Guzman and Alex Junior da Silva.

With roster cuts looming and World Finals qualification on the line, every ride in Tacoma carries added weight.

MONSTER ENERGY TEAM CHALLENGE — CHAMPIONSHIP

The inaugural Monster Energy Team Challenge champion will be crowned in Tacoma.

• No. 1 Missouri Thunder (5-0) vs. No. 2 Austin Gamblers (4-1)

The championship matchup follows eliminations of the Kansas City Outlaws and Florida Freedom in earlier rounds.

The tournament has spanned Albuquerque, Billings and Tacoma, culminating in a 7-on-7 showdown to determine the first-ever champion.

Sunday’s championship airs exclusively on CBS at 1 p.m. ET.

REMATCH RECAP

One familiar matchup returns in Round 1:

Paulo Eduardo Rossetto vs. Real Deal

Rossetto previously rode the bull for 86.25 points in October 2025 during Ridge Rider Days and will look to remain perfect in the rematch.

With the World Finals looming, the final weekend of the regular season has the potential to reshape the championship race in an instant — catch all the action live on Paramount+ and the Monster Energy Team Challenge Championship on CBS.
