The final gateway to Fort Worth runs straight through South Texas.
This weekend, the 2026 Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour Finals takes over Corpus Christi, where 44 of the sport’s top riders will battle across two nights for one of the most important opportunities of the season.
Not just a title. Not just a win. But a place for five riders at the PBR World Finals.
Because when the final bull is bucked in Corpus Christi, the door to the World Finals will close on some – and open for others to walk straight through.
WHAT’S AT STAKE
This is the last chance.
There are multiple paths to Fort Worth, but none come easy. The highest-finishing rider in the event not already qualified will earn a berth to the PBR World Finals, along with the three highest-ranked riders in the standings who have not yet qualified. The highest-finishing international invite not already qualified will also earn a spot, provided he finishes inside the Top 5 of the event.
In addition, the event aggregate winner (three-head) will automatically punch his ticket to Fort Worth.
For every rider in the field, the path is simple: Take care of business—or the season ends here.
HOW THE FORMAT WORKS
A total of 44 riders will compete across three rounds, with points awarded in both the individual rounds and the overall aggregate.
The structure rewards consistency—but it also creates opportunity.
GO-ROUND POINTS (TOP 11 EACH ROUND)
1st – 40 points
2nd – 20 points
3rd – 18 points
4th – 16 points
5th – 14 points
6th – 12 points
7th – 10 points
8th – 8 points
9th – 6 points
10th – 4 points
11th – 2 points
AGGREGATE POINTS (THREE-HEAD TOTAL)
1st – 200 points
2nd – 125 points
3rd – 90 points
4th – 54 points
5th – 46 points
6th – 36 points
7th – 24 points
8th – 16 points
9th – 10 points
10th – 6 points
11th – 4 points
At the center of it all is the aggregate.
Win the average, and you automatically punch your ticket to Fort Worth – regardless of where you started the weekend.
BONUS POINTS: WHERE RIDERS TAKE CONTROL
This is where riders separate themselves.
70–79.99 = +7 bonus points
80–89.99 = +8 bonus points
90–99.99 = +9 bonus points
That means riders aren’t just competing to make the whistle – they’re competing to maximize every opportunity.
In a race this tight, performance matters just as much as results.
THE STANDINGS PRESSURE
At the top, the race remains tight – but far from settled.
Grayson Cole enters in position to control his own destiny.
Nick Tetz sits high in the standings but is not competing, leaving the door open. Macaulie Leather remains firmly in contention.
Wyatt Rogers brings momentum after winning the Touring Pro Division. Elijah Jennings, Dener Barbosa, and Brody Robinson are all within striking distance. Andy Guzman remains mathematically alive with the points available.
Several key adjustments have also reshaped the field. Trace Redd is out due to illness, with Vitor Losnake stepping in to take his place and draw. Jean Paulo Fernandes will not compete, with Aaron Williams filling his spot. Kase Hitt is also out for the Velocity Tour Finals, with Eli Vasbinder set to take his position and bull.
With 200 points available in the aggregate alone, the standings remain wide open.
