2025 PBR Rookie of the Year Hudson Bolton advances to 3-for-3 to lead 2026 PBR World Finals: Unleash The Beast at Cowtown Coliseum
No. 2 Brady Fielder, second in Round 3, slices No. 1 John Crimber’s lead in World Title race to 136.5 points.

FORT WORTH, Texas – 2025 PBR Rookie of the Year Hudson Bolton (Milan, Tennessee) remained red-hot Saturday night, besting Stryker for 89.35 points to lead the 2026 PBR (Professional Bull Riders) World Finals: Unleash The Beast in Fort Worth, Texas, on Saturday night.
Bolton became the first man to advance to 3-for-3 at Cowtown Coliseum by recording his eleventh qualified ride in his last twelve outs to rocket to the top of the event leaderboard.
“I’ve dreamt of this moment for a really long time. To be out here pursuing it means the world to me, and I’m truly blessed,” Bolton said on the Paramount+ telecast.
“It’s so much fun. The guys back there keep the energy flowing. When you’re having fun, you’re riding good, and it’s showing right now, so it’s fun.”
Bolton took home 28 UTB points for his fourth-place showing in Round 3 and improved from No. 18 to No. 15.
No. 19 Kaiden Loud (Kaufman, Texas) set the bar with a rank 90-point ride aboard Dana White’s Playmate early in the night and held on to win his first round win of the season.
He earned 59 UTB points and the top pick in the Round 4 bull draft courtesy of his first qualified ride of the weekend, with selection order calculated based on Round 3 results.
No. 2 Brady Fielder (Clermont, Australia) recorded his first ride of the weekend, scored 89.55 points atop Ridin’ Saltyto rekindle the world title race. Fielder is now 136.5 points behind No. 1 John Crimber (Decatur, Texas), who fell to 0-for-3 inside Cowtown Coliseum.
Fielder netted 33 UTB points for his runner-up effort in Round 3 and occupies the 14th spot on the event leaderboard ahead of Sunday’s fourth round.
After winning each of the event’s first two rounds, No. 3 Sage Steele Kimzey (Strong City, Oklahoma) bucked off Truax’s Bear Cat in 5.80 seconds. Kimzey sits in third place as the top-scored rider with two conversions.
The premier series pack collectively rebounded in Round 3 with 15 qualified rides after the world’s top-ranked bovines held riders to single-digit ride totals during the first two rounds of World Finals competition.
Returning to the top of the World Finals leaderboard, No. 13 Luciano De Castro (Guzolandia, Brazil) trails Bolton in the event aggregate by just .15 points.
The veteran cowboy continued to climb the all-time ranks, now tied for the seventh-longest qualified ride streak in PBR history, after extending his tour-best ride streak to twelve-straight conversions.
Castro was scored 87.55 points on Apple Juicing to move into second place in the event and netted 13 UTB points, joining Bolton as the only other man with perfect 3-for-3 starts.
No. 9 Claudio Montanha Jr. (Ribeirao dos Indios, Brazil) made the most of his Round 3 dance with Scrappy. Matching the animal athlete’s every move for an 89.30-point conversion, the 37-year-old cowboy now sits in fourth place overall.
Montanha Jr. earned 24.5 UTB points for his fifth-place tie in the round.
No. 10 Keyshawn Whitehorse (McCracken Spring, Utah) was forced into a touch 4.97 seconds into his Round 3 attempt aboard Snap Chatter but remains in fifth place.
Four additional riders enter Sunday’s fourth round with two ride scores, including No. 29 Lucas Divino (Nova Crixas, Brazil), No. 24 Callum Miller (Warwick, Australia), No. 5 Paulo Eduardo Rossetto (Colorado, Brazil) and No. 34 Dener Barbosa (Paulo de Faria, Brazil).
Action for the 2026 PBR World Finals: Unleash The Beast – at Cowtown Coliseum concludes Sunday, May 10 at 1:45 p.m. CT, with Round 4 coverage set to begin on Paramount+ at 2 p.m. CT.
