FORT WORTH, Texas (May 6, 2026) – With less than a week remaining until the 2026 PBR (Professional Bull Riders) World Finals: Unleash The Beast, the organization has revealed an elite roster of more than 130 world-class bovine athletes set to compete at the sport’s most prestigious, season-ending showdown.

Alongside the world’s best riders, who will be vying for the 2026 PBR World Championship and $1 million bonus, the world’s top bulls will also be competing for the 2026 YETI PBR World Champion Bull honor and accompanying $100,000 bonus.

The top bucking bulls competing at the World Finals will receive three outs, and World Champion contenders will be able to drop their lowest score in the competition spanning May 7-17 in Fort Worth, Texas.

The 2026 PBR World Finals will also crown a YETI “Built for the Wild” Bull of the Finals, who will be awarded a $25,000 bonus for posting the top combined score based on his three outs at the season-culminating event.

In this year’s extremely tight bull race, Pegasus (McCoy Rodeo/Spencer Neil) will buck into the World Finals atop the standings by less than a fifth of a point. He’s earned an average score of 45.79 through 11 events this season.

With 14 outs on the season, the bovine athlete has only been ridden three times during the 2026 campaign. He was the YETI “Built for the Wild” Bull of the Event in Little Rock where he put up a score of 45.75 when he bucked off UTB No. 24 Koltin Hevalow in 1.58 seconds.

Sitting just 0.16 points behind him in the standings is Ransom (D&H Cattle Co./Flinn) with 45.63 points throughout 10 events. He’s been ridden three times, bucking off 70% of the riders he’s faced this season.

Ransom has established himself as a dominant force, delivering the highest bull score of the year with 47.85 points in Billings, where he was named the YETI “Built for the Wild” Bull of the Event. He earned the same honor in Sioux Falls with a standout 46.15-point performance and continued his consistency during the PBR Teams season in Oklahoma City, posting 45.50 points.

The remaining Top 10 active contenders in the YETI PBR World Champion Bull race set to compete at the World Finals are: No. 3 Buck Nasty (45.23-point average | -0.56 points); No. 4 Red Demon (45.19-point average | -0.6 points); No. 5 Fire Zone (45.16-point average | -0.63 points); No. 6 Eyes On Me (44.99-point average | -0.80 points); No. 7 Ridin’ Dirty (44.78-point average | -1.01 points); No. 8 Freedom Fighter (44.71-point average | -1.08 points); No. 8 Tigger(44.71-point average | -1.08 points); and No. 10 Jailor (44.48-point average | -1.31 points).

As an added layer of excitement, ABBI (American Bucking Bull Inc.) will buck roughly 36 bulls during Round 1 of the 2026 PBR World Finals: Unleash The Beast Round 1 on May 7 when the top 4- and 5-year-old up-and-coming bulls will go up against the world’s best riders. These four-legged athletes will compete for an estimated purse of more than $60,000.

Bovines to watch include reigning ABBI Classic World Champion and current world No. 2 Ransom, current No. 1 in the ABBI Classic standings Tigger, in addition to No. 2 Jailor and No. 3 Jeffrey D.

The PBR World Finals will welcome the ABBI’s American Heritage Futurity. The American Heritage is one of the longest-running ABBI Futurities showcasing our Breeders programs. The free-to-attend event will be held May 15–16 at 9 a.m. at the Will Rogers Watt Arena and feature the top two-year-old bovine athletes competing for one of the biggest payouts in ABBI, with an estimated purse of $200,000.
