NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The white-hot Nashville Stampede (8-1) went four-for-five to win their eighth consecutive game, a team record, in dramatic walk-off fashion to open Stampede Days at Bridgestone Arena Friday night in front of an electric crowd.

Head coach Justin McBride’s prolific squad has covered 26 of 45 bulls on the season, riding 57.8% of the bovine athletes they’ve challenged.

Nashville went toe-to-toe with the Arizona Ridge Riders (5-4) as both teams recorded four qualified rides in the weekend opener of the Stampede’s homestand, a 356.3-346.35 Stampede win. In the well-rounded team effort, with his team down in the bottom of the fifth, Riquelmi Silva (Bom Jesus do Araguaia, Brazil) hung on with pure gutsy desperation for the walk-off win with an 87.55-point ride aboard Po Campo. Earlier, Alan de Souza (Tremembé, São Paulo, Brazil) put Nashville on the board with 90.5 points on Freedom Fighter, setting the tone of the matchup in the bottom of the first. Daniel Feitosa (Guaraci, Brazil) scored 88.9 points on Drinkin & Dreamin in the second while Rogério Venâncio(Paranaita, Brazil) put up 89.35 points on Humdinger in the third.

Venâncio’s ride propelled the Brazilian to the top of the 2026 PBR Teams MVP Race with 620.6 points, scoring on seven of the nine attempts (77.78%).

Arizona’s Eduardo Aparecido (Gouvelandia, Brazil) struck first for the Ridge Riders with 88.75 points on High Caliberfollowed by an 86.4-point outing by Everton Natan da Silva (Viradouro, São Paulo, Brazil) on Louisville Slugger. Elizmar Jeremias (Anapu, Brazil) combined with Organized Chaos for 89.15 points before Vitor Manoel Dias (Sales, São Paulo, Brazil) rode Boss Hoggin for a score of 82.05 points in the fifth.

The Oklahoma Wildcatters (4-5) stunned the Florida Freedom (5-4) three rides to one, walking away with a momentum-building 268.65-87.85 win. Austin Richardson (Dallas, Texas) recorded Florida’s first and and only ride aboard Jeff in the first. Kase Hitt (Dickson, Okla.) responded in the bottom of the first with a monster 90.15-point ride on Bruised and Confused. In the third, Eduardo Matos (Emilianópolis, São Paulo, Brazil) added an additional 89.2 points for Oklahoma aboard Stryker. In his PBR Teams debut – a reride attempt – Jack Mitchell (Weatherford, Texas) recorded 89.3 points against Woody to close out the game and accentuate the victory.

Winning their third consecutive game, the Austin Gamblers (5-4) defeated the New York Mavericks (1-8) 262.45-89.05, starting off the game 3-for-3. Dalton Kasel (Muleshoe, Texas) scored first in the game with 87.9 points on UB Smoothfollowed by an 89.05-point ride by Mauricio Gulla Moreira (Gaviao Peixoto, São Paulo, Brazil) for New York in the first. Austin regained the lead when three-time PBR World Champion Jose Vitor Leme (Ribas do Rio Pardo, Brazil) scored 87.55 points on Black Velvet. In Austin’s third out, Lucas Divino (Nova Crixas, Brazil) bested Max Bet for 87 points for the final score of the game.

The Texas Rattlers (5-4) rebounded from an off weekend in Florida, edging the Kansas City Outlaws (3-6) three rides to two in a 266.1-173.4 victory. The Rattlers’ first rider Brady Fielder (Clermont, Queensland, Australia) scored 89.45 points on Down Payment. Jadon Hayes (Abilene, Texas) added another 89.45 points for Texas, besting Big Dawg for his first PBR Teams career ride. With the win already sealed, 42-year-old João Ricardo Vieira (Itatinga, São Paulo, Brazil) electrified the crowd with 87.2 points on Ugly This to punctuate the victory. Kansas City’s Koltin Hevalow(McAlester, Okla.) (85.3 points on Flyin’ Solo) and Sandro Batista (Pedra Preta, Brazil) (88.1 points on MF Cupcake) earned the Outlaw’s pair of rides.

In their first meeting of the season, the Missouri Thunder (4-5) exacted revenge in the rematch of the 2025 PBR Teams Championship against the Carolina Cowboys (5-4) with a 167.3-89.1 victory. Paulo Eduardo Rossetto’s (Colorado, Brazil) grit paid off in the first as a challenge showed the cowboy earning 77.1 points on Show Biz after having previously been marked as bucked off. Guilherme Valleiras (Pirassununga, São Paulo, Brazil) earned 89.1 points on Power Trip for Carolina – their lone ride of the evening. Later, in the bottom of the third, Kade Madsen (Honeyville, Utah) earned his first qualified ride of the season, a stunning 90.2-points on Joker that ultimately sealed the victory.

The second day of Stampede Days at Bridgestone Arena resumes Saturday, Aug. 15 at 6:45 p.m. CT. Saturday’s first three games will be carried LIVE at 7 p.m. CT on the CW while the final two games will air at 11 a.m. CT Sunday as a special CBS “Game of the Week” doubleheader.
