AUSTIN, Texas – The soaring Missouri Thunder (8-5) won their fifth consecutive game, defeating the No. 1 Nashville Stampede (10-3) 353.45-263.7 in a back-and-forth battle on Saturday night at Moody Center during the second day of Gambler Days presented by Tecovas.

Missouri rode four of five bulls in the high-scoring showdown, ignited by Paulo Eduardo Rossetto’s (Colorado, Brazil) leadoff 89.45-point ride on Hard Candy in the first to take the lead after Nashville’s Alan de Souza (Tremembé, São Paulo, Brazil) scored 88.90 points on XIT Socks in Box to start the game. Rossetto extended his riding streak to six bulls and is 10 for 13 on the season. Julio Cesar Marques (Tatuí, São Paulo, Brazil) rode XIT Knock Out for 88.2 points in the third, and Felipe Furlan (Sales Oliveira, São Paulo, Brazil) added 87.7 points on a re-ride opportunity aboard Bowser. With the game already decided, in the bottom of the fifth the Thunder’s Maverick Smith (Cabool, Mo.) added 88.1 points on Hoka Hey.

Still leading the 2026 PBR Teams league standings by two games, Nashville also had scores from Rogério Venâncio(Paranaita, Brazil), besting Sucker Pop for 87.9 points in the third, and Riquelmi Silva (Bom Jesus do Araguaia, Brazil), recording 86.9 points on Cowboy Playboy in the fifth.

The Texas Rattlers (7-6) spoiled the Austin Gamblers’ (6-7) chances of a perfect homestand in a 176.85-91.45 victory Saturday, beating their in-state rivals for the second time this season in the 2026 Land.com Texas Cup. Brady Fielder(Clermont, Queensland, Australia) opened the matchup with 87.2 points on Snappy in the first while Daniel Keeping(Montague, Texas) bested Cherry Chew in the second for 89.65 points. Keeping’s ride was the first time any cowboy had ridden Cherry Chew in 23 outs as the two silenced the hometown crowd.

Three-time PBR World Champion Jose Vitor Leme (Ribas do Rio Pardo, Brazil) scored 91.45 points in the lone ride for Austin in the second on Up The Ante to extend his ride streak to eight straight games. Leme, No. 1 in the PBR Teams MVP race, leads the league with 10 rides on the season. With his 92nd career 90-point ride, Leme sits just two shy of two-time PBR World Champion Chris Shivers’ all-time leading 94 90-point rides. During both nights of action in Austin, a Gambler has been the highest-scoring rider of the event.

The New York Mavericks (2-11) won their second game of the season, beating the Oklahoma Wildcatters (4-9) 176.5-87.9. New York’s victory, snapping a six-game losing streak, was highlighted by 2026 PBR Rookie of the Year Marco Rizzo’s (Quitman, Ga.) huge 90.2-point ride on Freedom Fighter in the fifth frame, the first 90-point ride for the squad this season. Earlier, Leonardo Castro (Cassilandia, Brazil) put the Mavericks on the board in the second by besting Dirty South for 86.3 points. In the final out of the game, Oklahoma’s Eduardo Matos (Emilianópolis, São Paulo, Brazil) scored 87.9 points aboard Bullistic.

The Kansas City Outlaws (6-7) dominated the Carolina Cowboys (8-5), outscoring the defending Teams Champion 268.55-0. Sandro Batista (Pedra Preta, Brazil) scored in the first with 88.35 points on Purple Rain to put the Outlaws on the board. In the third, the 2026 PBR Teams No. 1 draft pick Hayden Welsh (Gillette, Wyo.) recorded 90.7 points on Cramer – Welsh’s first 90-point ride of his young PBR career. In the final frame, 2024 PBR World Champion Cassio Dias (São F. de Sales, Brazil) put a cherry on top of the win with an 89.5-point ride on Lieutenant Dan. Kansas City has defeated Carolina in both matchups this season, following a 175.05-0 season-opening win in Fort Collins, Colo.

In a game that came down to one ride for each team, the Florida Freedom (6-7) ended a five-game losing streak in defeating the Arizona Ridge Riders (8-5) 89.8-87.5. Florida’s João Lucas Campos (Porto Feliz, São Paulo, Brazil) rode Peso in the third while Arizona’s Elizmar Jeremias (Anapu, Brazil) bested Good Riddance in the fourth.
