The 2026 PBR Teams season rolls into Sunrise, Florida, this weekend for Freedom Days presented by Breedlove Wound Care at Amerant Bank Arena.

The third event of the season brings all 10 teams to South Florida for three days of five-on-five bull riding games as the Florida Freedom compete in front of their hometown crowd for the first time in 2026.

Key Storylines

The Florida Freedom return home to Amerant Bank Arena with an opportunity to make an early move in the standings. Sitting third at 3-2, Florida will compete in front of its home crowd for the first time this season while trying to keep pace with Nashville and Texas at the top of the league.

Boudreaux Campbell is set to make his season debut for the Freedom and take his first out since becoming a father. The moment will carry added significance as Campbell lines up against his former team, the Missouri Thunder, in his first appearance for Florida this season.

The Nashville Stampede arrive in Sunrise with the league’s most productive lineup. Nashville became the first team to surpass 1,000 aggregate points this season, and all five starters rank inside the top 25 of the PBR Teams MVP race. Four sit inside the top 14, making the Stampede the early standard for lineup depth and consistency.

Texas enters the weekend tied with Nashville at 4-1 but will be without Claudio Montanha Jr., who is sidelined with an injury and undergoing further evaluation. Young gun Jadon Hayes will step into the lineup after showing clear frustration when he came down early during Wildcatter Days in Oklahoma City, giving him an immediate opportunity to respond in Sunrise.

The Carolina Cowboys will also arrive with a different look, welcoming Derek Kolbaba back to the lineup while adding Ezekiel Mitchell for extra depth and helping avoid another last-minute fly-in should an emergency arise. The added options give the defending champions more flexibility as they try to build momentum.

Friday’s matchup between the Arizona Ridge Riders and Carolina Cowboys will carry an extra layer of intrigue. Arizona Head Coach Colby Yates and Whitehorse’s former team have jokingly framed the game as “Arizona vs. Keyshawn,” putting added attention on newly acquired Cowboys closer Keyshawn Whitehorse.

The Oklahoma Wildcatters will look to carry the momentum created during their home event into Sunrise. After a loss Saturday night, the team went on a late-night run together before returning Sunday to close the weekend with a dramatic walk-off victory. Freedom Days will show whether that renewed energy can travel beyond Oklahoma City.
