Nashville Stampede
Alan de Souza has been chasing eight seconds alongside his identical twin, Alisson, since they were kids in Taubaté, Brazil. At first, Alan was the timid one—holding calves while his brother climbed on—but that changed fast. Once he felt the rush of the ride, he never let go. The twins rose through Brazil’s rodeo ranks together, their shared grit setting them apart from the start.
By 2019, de Souza was crowned the PBR Brazil Champion and qualified for his first PBR World Finals alongside Alisson, becoming just the third set of twins in history to ride in the event together. Known for his smooth, balanced style and quiet confidence, he made his U.S. debut that same year, going 5-for-6 in Las Vegas to finish third overall and cap a breakout season.
After taking a two-year hiatus, de Souza returned in 2023 hungrier than ever, capturing the PBR Challenger Series Championship and earning his way back to the top. In 2024, he carried that momentum to a career-best No. 5 finish in the Unleash The Beast standings—then cemented his comeback with one of the defining moments of his career: a career-high 92.5-point ride on Man Hater during the 2025 PBR World Finals: Unleash The Beast – Eliminations in Fort Worth.
Now a veteran rider for the Nashville Stampede, de Souza rides with heart, humility, and quiet fire—always the first to cheer his twin from the sidelines, phone in hand recording every out, even though they wear different team colors.
Away from the dirt, de Souza keeps life simple. He starts his mornings with strong coffee, prefers barbecue after a long weekend of rides, and spends downtime hunting or fishing when he can. A family man at heart, he credits faith and brotherhood for keeping him grounded through every climb and comeback. Because for Alan de Souza, no matter the bull or the arena, it’s always about family, faith, and the love of the ride.
