FORT WORTH, Texas – No. 11 Luciano De Castro (Guzolandia, Brazil) recorded his thirteenth-straight qualified ride aboard Sour Patch (90.15 points) to lead the 2026 PBR (Professional Bull Riders) World Finals: Unleash The Beast in Fort Worth, Texas, on Sunday afternoon.

The veteran’s successful strike on the final day of competition inside Cowtown Coliseum tied him for the fifth-longest qualified ride streak in PBR history while earning him the top spot on the event leaderboard heading into Dickies Arena where competition resumes Thursday night.

“I’m very happy. I want to thank my Lord, Jesus. He’s blessed me a lot. I want to thank my family. My family came here with me and I feel very strong.” Castro said on the Paramount+ telecast.

“I’m very happy to have done a great job here at the first weekend of World Finals. I ride bull by bull, jump by jump, and I don’t put pressure on myself. I pray a lot and I work hard.”

Castro became the first man to go 4-for-4 Sunday and earned 29 UTB points for his fourth place finish in Round 4. He sits 1.75 points ahead of No. 14 Hudson Bolton (Milan, Tennessee) in the event aggregate ahead of Round 5.

The 2025 PBR Rookie of the Year in Hudson continued his own electric run Sunday, going the distance atop Big Dawgfor 88.25 points, now successful in 12 of his last 13 attempts.

Bolton was the only other cowboy to go 4-for-4 at Cowtown Coliseum, which sold out for the fourth straight day. He earned 13 UTB points for his 11th place effort in Round 4 and improved to 10-for-12 all-time within World Finals outs.

Each of the tour’s Top 3-ranked cowboys in No. 3 Sage Steele Kimzey (Strong City, Oklahoma), No. 2 Brady Fielder(Clermont, Australia) and No. 1 John Crimber (Decatur, Texas), who fell to 0-for-4 inside Cowtown Coliseum, bucked off Sunday. Kimzey and Fielder trail Crimber by 179.5 and 135.5 points, respectively.

No. 4 Leandro Zampollo (Pirassununga, Brazil) ditched his three-out buckoff streak to begin World Finals by besting OptiWize Mercy for 87.95 points Sunday.

No. 5 Paulo Eduardo Rossetto (Colorado, Brazil) sits in sixth place on the big board after surviving the requisite 8 atop Dirty South (88.35 points) in Round 4. He netted 16 UTB points and exited Cowtown Coliseum with a 3-for-4 slate, 402.5 points behind Crimber.

No. 12 Marco Rizzo (Quitman, Georgia) bested El Patron for 89.75 points to record his career-first conversion on the World Finals stage while defending his lead atop the Rookie of the Year race. Rizzo holds a 29-point lead over No. 20 Maverick Smith (Cabool, Missouri), who also went 1-for-4 during the first weekend of action.

Twenty-six different riders recorded at least one qualified ride throughout the first four days of competition in Fort Worth. Fifteen conversions in Sunday’s fourth round were highlighted by five 90-point rides.

2018 World Champion Kaique Pacheco (Itatiba, Brazil) earned his first round win of the season courtesy of an epic 90.55-point ride on Jeffrey D. He earned 59 UTB points and improved from No. 32 to No. 26, now 13th in the event standings.

Returning to the top of the World Finals leaderboard, No. 9 Claudio Montanha Jr. (Ribeirao dos Indios, Brazil) briefly held the top spot on the big board in Round 4, scored 88.70 points for his 8-second effort aboard Jameson on his way to improving to 3-for-4 on the weekend.

The veteran earned 18 UTB points for his eighth-place finish in Round 4 and now sits in third place on the event leaderboard as the top-scoring cowboy with three ride scores.

No. 28 Lucas Divino (Nova Crixas, Brazil) sits in fourth place following an 89-point dance with Johny Dang, while No. 24 Callum Miller (Warwick, Australia) rounds out the Top 5 in fifth place after besting Eyes On Me for 88.30 points Sunday.

Divino earned 18 UTB points, while Miller gained 14 UTB points.

No. 34 Dener Barbosa (Paulo de Faria, Brazil) sits in seventh place as the final cowboy to record a 3-for-4 start to the weekend.
