There will be no hometown introductions to hide behind this weekend. No home crowd waiting to lift one team when things go sideways. No familiar dirt belonging to anybody.

In Anaheim, everybody is a visitor.

And considering how close the teams are at the top of the PBR Teams standings, that might be exactly what this season needs.

Last weekend’s Thunder Days marked the halfway point of the 2026 PBR Teams regular season. Now, with the second half underway, Stop No. 7 brings the league to Honda Center in Anaheim, California, Sept. 11-13.

The Nashville Stampede, Missouri Thunder and Carolina Cowboys arrive with identical 11-6 records. Nashville owns No. 1 by aggregate score, but No. 2 Missouri sits just 0.55 points behind. Carolina is No. 3, while the No. 4 Texas Rattlers are 10-7 and only one game back.

Three days in California could rearrange the entire picture.

And Friday wastes absolutely no time.

Game 1 opens with the No. 8 Florida Freedom (7-10) facing the No. 7 Oklahoma Wildcatters (8-9). Oklahoma arrives after a perfect 3-0 weekend at Thunder Days, while Florida looks to climb back toward the middle of the standings.

Then the fight at the top takes center stage.

Game 2 pits the No. 2 Missouri Thunder (11-6) against the No. 3 Carolina Cowboys (11-6). Both share the same record as first-place Nashville, meaning one can apply immediate pressure at the top while the other is guaranteed another loss.

The Thunder send MVP contender Paulo Eduardo Rossetto to Fury in the opening frame, while Carolina counters with Thiago Salgado aboard King Cobra.

Game 3 sends the No. 4 Texas Rattlers (10-7) against the No. 9 Kansas City Outlaws (6-11).

Texas went a perfect 3-0 at Thunder Days and enters Anaheim only one game behind the three teams above it. With Missouri and Carolina guaranteed to hand one another a loss in Game 2, the Rattlers have an opportunity to capitalize immediately.

They just need to keep winning.

Game 4 features the No. 6 Austin Gamblers (8-9) against the No. 10 New York Mavericks (4-13) — and brings the biggest individual question of the weekend into the arena.

Then comes Game 5, when the No. 1 Nashville Stampede (11-6) close Friday against the No. 5 Arizona Ridge Riders (9-8).

By the time Nashville enters the arena, the Stampede will already know what happened between Missouri and Carolina and whether Texas took advantage.

They will know exactly what a win — or loss — could mean to their grip on No. 1.

Welcome to Anaheim.

How long can Leme keep doing this?

The three-time World Champion arrives in California riding the hottest stretch PBR Teams has seen.

Leme has ridden 12 consecutive bulls, a PBR Teams record, and became the first rider in league history to record four consecutive perfect 3-for-3 events.

Can he make it five?

Friday gives Leme Young Buck when Austin meets New York in Game 4.

At this point, the question isn’t simply whether Leme can ride another one.

It’s how long this can possibly continue.

Leme enters Anaheim atop the PBR Teams MVP standings with 1,328.85 aggregate points, having ridden 15 of 17 bulls for an 88.24% riding percentage.

Right behind him is Rossetto.

The Missouri standout has 1,233.05 aggregate points, riding 14 of 17 bulls at an 82.35% clip. Officially, that leaves him 95.80 points and one qualified ride behind Leme.

But 95.80 points tells another story.

A score that large would be extraordinary in PBR Teams. So while Rossetto trails by only one qualified ride on paper, 95.80 points represents what is effectively a two-ride mountain to climb under normal Teams scoring.

And every time Leme rides another bull, the target moves again.

Rossetto has a streak of his own. His perfect 3-for-3 performance at Thunder Days extended his run to 10 consecutive qualified rides.

No home dirt. Just business.

Anaheim isn’t Nashville. It isn’t Missouri. It isn’t Austin, Texas, or any other PBR Teams homestand where one franchise owns the building for three days.

All 10 teams arrive on neutral ground.

The team schedule is set for all three days. What remains unknown are the individual rider-and-bull matchups for Saturday and Sunday.

Those draws will add the next layer to a weekend already carrying major implications for the standings and MVP race.

Five games each day. Ten teams.

And nowhere for the standings to stay comfortable.

PBR Teams: Anaheim runs Sept. 11-13, 2026, beginning Friday at 7:45 p.m. PT, continuing Saturday at 6:45 p.m. PT and concluding Sunday at 1:15 p.m. PT.

You feel the anticipation when a rider slides over his rope. You watch five men behind the chutes knowing one qualified ride could change their entire game. When the gate opens, eight seconds can change the standings before anybody has time to calculate what just happened.

The halfway point is behind them. Seven stops into 2026, the room for mistakes is getting smaller.

By Sunday, another franchise may be sitting atop the PBR Teams standings.
