THE FINAL FOUR BEGINS IN FORT WORTH

Four events remain.

That is all that separates the PBR Teams regular season from Las Vegas.

Rattler Days opens the final four-event stretch of 2026 with Missouri and Nashville still setting the pace after both went 2-1 at Cowboy Days in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The Thunder and Stampede enter Fort Worth with identical 16-7 records, with Missouri holding the No. 1 position and Nashville sitting No. 2.

And neither has much breathing room.

The defending PBR Teams Champion Carolina Cowboys sit No. 3 at 14-9, two games back of the leaders, while the Austin Gamblers are No. 4 at 13-10 and three games off the pace.

Texas rounds out the top five at 12-11 after going 1-2 in Greensboro.

With only four regular-season events remaining, every game now carries another layer of weight as teams continue fighting for position before the PBR Teams Championship in Las Vegas.

HOME HAS BEEN VERY GOOD TO TEXAS

Few teams have protected home dirt quite like the Texas Rattlers.

Texas enters its fifth Rattler Days with an 11-1 all-time record at Dickies Arena.

The Rattlers went a perfect 3-0 in Fort Worth in each of their first three seasons in 2022, 2023 and 2024 before suffering their first home loss in 2025.

Even then, Texas still finished the weekend 2-1.

Now the Rattlers return home looking to shake off a 1-2 performance at Cowboy Days and make another push up the standings.

Their weekend begins Friday against the Oklahoma Wildcatters before Arizona comes calling Sunday.

But Saturday brings the matchup that rarely needs much introduction in Texas.

Austin vs. Texas.

The Gamblers and Rattlers meet in Game 5 Saturday night, putting the state’s two PBR Teams franchises opposite one another with Austin entering the weekend one game ahead of Texas in the standings.

Texas is 12-11.

Austin is 13-10.

The rivalry does not need much help producing stakes, but at this point in the season, it has them anyway.

NO. 1 VS. NO. 2 SATURDAY NIGHT

Missouri and Nashville will not have to spend the entire weekend watching the scoreboard to see what the other is doing.

They get each other Saturday.

The league’s top two teams meet in Game 3 with matching 16-7 records, creating a direct opportunity for one to put a game between itself and the other as the regular season winds down.

Missouri opens the weekend Friday against Arizona before meeting Nashville Saturday and Kansas City on Sunday.

Nashville draws Florida Friday, Missouri Saturday and New York Sunday.

The Stampede’s projected Friday lineup features Alan de Souza, Daniel Feitosa, Rogério Venâncio, Deklan Garlandand Riquelmi Silva.

Missouri is projected to counter Arizona on Friday with Paulo Eduardo Rossetto, Julio Cesar Marques, Felipe Furlan, Macaulie Leather and Maverick Smith.

That puts two of the league’s deepest teams on a collision course Saturday night with first place sitting directly in the balance.

REMATCH RECAP

Friday’s opening slate features plenty of familiar rider-bull matchups.

Florida’s Murilo Henrique de Oliveira looks to improve to 2-1 against There’s Your Sign after being bucked off in 4.74 seconds in August 2025 before answering with an 86.5-point ride the following weekend in Anaheim.

Arizona’s Eduardo Aparecido gets another shot at Couyon, who bucked him off in 7.63 seconds earlier this season, while Everton Natan da Silva looks to remain perfect against Money Hustler after riding him for 88.2 points last month in Anaheim. Missouri MVP contender Paulo Eduardo Rossetto is 1-for-1 against Yo Mamma after scoring 86.5 points at Rattler Days in 2025.

New York’s Bob Mitchell looks to stay perfect against One Shank after an 86.5-point ride last October in Kansas City, while Leandro Zampollo meets I’m a Hostage for the fourth time after an 88.65-point ride in March and a 7.58-second buckoff last month in Ridgedale. Kansas City’s Sandro Batista enters his third meeting with Feeds Red River at 1-1, having ridden him for 87.75 points in September 2024 before the bull evened the series three weeks later in Fort Worth.

Austin’s Sage Steele Kimzey looks to go 2-for-2 aboard Smooth Whiskey after a 91.25-point ride at Gambler Days.

Texas also brings several rematches into Friday night. Brady Fielder gets Dirty Bomb again after riding him for 91.65 points in Ridgedale, while Daniel Keeping reunites with Fury after an 89.05-point ride in Austin. João Ricardo Vieira will also see a familiar opponent in Sky Diamond.

With four events remaining, first place on the line, Texas defending an 11-1 home record and several familiar rider-bull matchups waiting Friday night, Rattler Days arrives with very little left to waste and plenty still to settle.
