Bearing the same first name as PBR legend Guilherme Marchi proved fitting for Guilherme Valleiras. The Pirassununga, Brazil, native began riding at home before following Marchi and fellow Brazilian World Champions Silvano Alves and Jose Vitor Leme to Texas in pursuit of bull riding stardom.

Valleiras made his PBR debut in Brazil in 2022 and quickly climbed the ranks after arriving in the United States in 2023. He won his first PBR event that February in Fort Worth, Texas, then broke through on the premier series a month later in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, going 2-for-3 to earn his first Unleash The Beast victory. The run carried him to his first PBR World Finals later that season.

His Teams career began with the Arizona Ridge Riders before he signed with the Austin Gamblers in 2024. Valleiras went 3-for-8 during the regular season and became a member of Austin’s 2024 PBR Teams Championship squad, which went an incredible 9-for-10 on Championship Sunday.

Now riding for the Carolina Cowboys, Valleiras has become one of the team’s most dependable starters, opening the 2026 season with a ride percentage above 70%.

Away from the dirt, Valleiras is a married father of one who is happiest staying close to his cowboy roots. He considers himself a horseman, enjoys hunting, dirt bikes and ATVs, and keeps Alan Jackson in the rotation. BBQ is his meal of choice, Panda Express is his go-to quick stop and Yellowstone tops his watch list, while JB Mauney and Guilherme Marchi remain two of the riders he has long admired.

Still only young, Valleiras is already a PBR World Finals qualifier, premier-series event winner and PBR Teams Champion — and he continues building a name of his own in the PBR Teams.
